7-Day Kenya Safari: Amboseli, Ol Pejeta & Masai Mara Adventure

We begin our journey in Nairobi, driving through scenic landscapes toward Amboseli National Park, one of Kenya’s most iconic safari destinations. As we approach the park, the towering silhouette of Mount Kilimanjaro greets us, setting the stage for a memorable adventure.

After check-in and lunch at the lodge, you head out for our first afternoon game drive in Amboseli National Park.

This day is dedicated to exploring Amboseli’s diverse ecosystems, from dusty plains to lush swamps fed by underground water from Kilimanjaro. Early morning game drives reveal active predators and grazing herbivores in their natural rhythm. You might spot lions, cheetahs, buffalo, elephants, and other animals in the park.

A relaxed picnic in the park keeps you immersed in nature before another magical sunset closes the day.

After breakfast, we depart Amboseli and travel north toward Ol Pejeta Conservancy, a leading conservation sanctuary in Laikipia. The journey offers views of rural Kenya, farmlands, and rolling hills.

Upon arrival, you settle in before heading out for an afternoon game drive. Ol Pejeta is home to the last two northern white rhinos and is one of the best places in East Africa to see black and white rhinos. Also, there are elephants, lions, and the rare Grevy’s zebra in the conservancy.

We spend a full day exploring Ol Pejeta Conservancy. A visit to the chimpanzee sanctuary introduces us to rescued chimpanzees living in a protected environment. We also participate in rhino tracking experiences guided by expert rangers.

Game drives across the conservancy reveal rich biodiversity, including giraffes and antelopes.

On this day, we depart early for the legendary Masai Mara National Reserve, passing through Kenya’s Great Rift Valley landscapes. After lunch and afternoon relaxation, we'll visit a traditional Masai village. You will learn about the Maasai's pastoral lifestyle, traditions, and vibrant culture at the village.

Later, depart the village and head to your camp or lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

This day is set for exploring the world-famous Masai Mara, home to the Great Wildebeest Migration. Morning and afternoon game drives take you across savannahs where lions rest under acacia trees, cheetahs scan the plains for prey, and elephants move in majestic herds. The Mara River offers dramatic scenes of crocodiles and hippos, making every moment memorable.

After breakfast, you begin the scenic drive back to Nairobi. Take in the rolling hills, Kenyans going about their daily activities, and glimpses of rural Kenya.

Upon your arrival in Nairobi, you'll be transferred to the airport or your residence.
