9 Days Wildlife & Diani Beach Safari

You'll leave Nairobi city behind and journey into the wild heart of Kenya, as you travel to the legendary Maasai Mara National Reserve. The journey passes through the Great Rift Valley, with a brief stop at a panoramic viewpoint to capture its breathtaking escarpment. By early afternoon, you’ll arrive in the Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya’s premier wildlife haven.

After lunch and some rest, enjoy a cultural visit to a Maasai village. You'll meet the Masai warriors, learn their ancient traditions, and experience their rhythmic songs and dances.

Spend the day exploring the vast plains of the Mara on thrilling game drives. Search for lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, and massive herds of wildebeest roaming one of Africa’s most celebrated safari destinations. A picnic lunch in the wilderness adds to the memorable adventure.

Between July and October, the Mara becomes the stage for the Great Wildebeest Migration.

After breakfast, say farewell to the Mara and drive through the scenic landscapes of the Rift Valley toward Lake Naivasha, a peaceful freshwater lake surrounded by lush greenery. You may choose a relaxing boat safari among hippos and birds or enjoy a guided walking safari on Crescent Island surrounded by grazing wildlife.

On this day, you will journey south to Amboseli National Park, famous for its giant elephants and beautiful views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive in time to soak in the beauty of the golden plains and dramatic landscapes.

Enjoy a full day of wildlife viewing across Amboseli’s open savannahs and swamps. Capture moments with elephants roaming beneath snow-capped Kilimanjaro. You will also enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the park before returning to your lodge to relax as the golden light fades across the horizon.

Leave the safari trails behind and head to the tropical paradise of Diani Beach. Along the way, dusty trails will change to palm trees swaying in the ocean breeze and turquoise waves lapping the shore. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, relaxing by the beach or pool with the sound of the ocean as your soundtrack.

Wake up to the gentle rhythm of waves and the warmth of the coastal sun. Today is yours to unwind or explore. You may choose to go snorkeling or diving in the vibrant Kisite-Mpunguti Marine Park, spot dolphins, or enjoy a Wasini Island tour with a Swahili-style seafood lunch. Alternatively, relax at your resort, stroll along the beach, or indulge in a rejuvenating spa treatment.

A full extra day to enjoy the coast at your own pace. You can take a glass-bottom boat excursion to view coral gardens, visit the ancient Kaya Kinondo Forest, or simply sip fresh coconut water as you lounge under a palm tree. If you're the adventurous type, go for activities such as kite surfing, camel rides, or a sunset dhow cruise.

Enjoy your final morning along the Kenyan Coast. You can take a sunrise stroll along the beach or relax with a cup of Kenyan coffee overlooking the ocean.

After breakfast, you'll be transferred to Ukunda Airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi, connecting to your international departure.
