Nous avons passé 9jours au Kenya à visiter les plus grands parcs (Samburu, lac Nakuru, Olpejeta, Masai Mara, lac Navaisha et Amboseli). Le Kenya mérite de le visiter mais surtout pas avec KT Safari. Dicky est gentil, serviable mais il y a des éléments qui font perdre la magie d’un voyage comme celui là. Par exemple, nous demander une rallonge de 1050$ prétextant que les parcs ont augmentés alors que les parcs avaient déjà augmentés avant notre réservation (le prix du ticket du Masai Mara a augmenté de 80 à 200$ avec une mise en application début juillet, alors que nous avons signé le devis fin juillet). Nous avons dû rajouter environ 200$ ce qui n’était pas prévu. Autre point négatif, la jeep de Dicky est en très mauvais état notamment l’intérieur où les sièges ne sont pas bien fixés au sol ce qui nous a balancé à de très nombreuses reprises, il y a aussi de nombreuses fuites. Vous passerez de longues heures dans la voiture entre les parcs. Le confort est primordial. D’ailleurs, il est nécessaire de rajouter deux heures de route quand Dicky vous donne une heure.. Autre point négatif, nous avons eu un problème de réservation au sopa lodge du lac naivasha où nous avons perdu 3h de temps, nous avons dû insister et nous énerver pour qu’il nous emmène vers un autre lodge (crescent camp). La nuit était moins chère mais pour autant il ne nous a pas remboursé la différence. Le lendemain, nous avons perdu de nouveau 1h car il attendait l’argent (notre argent qu’il avait utilisé je ne sais pas comment) pour payer le lodge (crescent). Dans la même journée, nous avons perdu de nouveau 1h dans une petite ville car il attendait de l’argent pour finir le safari et payer le parc d’amboseli. Nous avons dû préciser à plusieurs reprises que nous ne souhaitons plus débourser d’argent, ce n’était pas à nous de payer son manque d’organisation. Comment ne pas avoir l’argent nécessaire alors que nous avions transmis 50% du paiement il y a un an et 50% à notre arrivée à Nairobi. Pour finir, c’était la meilleure ! Il nous a déposé dans un café et il s’est arrangé avec un autre guide touristique pour nous ramener à l’aéroport de Nairobi car il n’avait plus d’argent pour payer l’essence jusqu’à Nairobi alors que nous rentrions en France le soir même (il était 15h30). Heureusement nous sommes tombés sur un autre chauffeur qui était très bien! Nous avions choisi KT safari car il y avait des bons avis et qu’il était recommandé sur le guide du routard. Nous le déconseillons fortement, vous trouverez mieux ailleurs. Dicky devrait arrêter de faire des paris sportifs (probablement avec notre argent) sur son téléphone pendant tout le temps du safari.. Alors oui, visitez le Kenya mais nous ne recommandons pas l’organisme de KT safari. PS : Nous sommes un couple de 30 ans avec de nombreux voyages à notre actif. When I called KT Safaris they told me they did not have me on their list but could take me for more money, which I did not have because the first booking was already paid. Das war hier abgedeckt 😊 lediglich die Kommunikation vorab war nicht perfekt, sprich wenn man nicht direkt eine Antwort erhält oder nur eine sehr kurze, sollte man sich davon nicht abschrecken lassen oder lieber kurz anrufen. Als wir dann abgeholt wurden haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt, James war ein sehr netter Tourguide. Wir konnten ihn vieles fragen und er hat uns auch einiges erklärt 👍🏻 Gesehen haben wir bei der frühen Tour mit Abholung zwischen 05:30 und 06:00 fast alles. Löwen, Nilpferde, Nashörner, Zebras, Büffel, Antilopen, Giraffen, ... danach sind wir noch auf einen kleinen Markt und er hat eine Abholung für uns besorgt, da der Rest der Truppe noch ins Elefantenwaisenhaus gefahren ist.
